Recovering

Well, things have settled down a bit from Christmas but the kids are still on hyper-drive. Our house has enough candy to supply a candy store and we have been spending a ton of time with family.

Here are some Christmas pics

Trying to get a Christmas Eve picture, it is 11pm.

Grandpa reading to Cody

Nana B and grandpa got an air hockey table, putting it together took until 10:30pm Christmas Eve. B watched intently as it was put together and was the first to play, which is kinda funny because I don't think she has played it before.

Here's what Santa brought

Santa Clause!!

So Santa found us and left us a truck load of toys. I think Cody has eaten nothing but candy for the last two days and he is driving us nuts. Bryten was scared that Santa was going to take her, when we finally got the kids to sleep it was way late. Luckily we were at my parents and they played santas helpers and had put a lot of the stuff together. Bryten woke up and was sure that santa didn't come and wasn't excited to see if he had come or not. When she finally did go up stairs her and cody just stared at their presents. Cody woke up grumpy as can be, crying and wanting to be held until he saw his train. Cody was the first of the two to run to his presents and he loved his train. We probable could have got away with just getting him the train but instead we loaded him up. Bryten, all that she wanted was a pink princess cash register and a little pony house. Santa brought the cash register and grandma got her the little pony house and she had the huggest smile.

For some odd reason my mac doesn't hook up with my parents wireless and so I can't put those up yet. I do have some pics of santa and our ward Christmas party that was fun.

Bryten went right up and sat on his lap and told him that she wanted a little pony house. She forgot to tell him that she also wanted a pink princess cash register, she was so worried that we had to write a letter the next day.

I think that Cody went to santa for two reasons, because his sister did and because he saw that he got a bag of candy. He sat there long enough to get his picture and his candy.

Christmas Lights

Well, I was too lazy this year to put up the Christmas lights. Maybe next year. We went to Temple Square to look at the lights with the Hilton family. It was COLD! Bryten and Cody loved it. Cody wouldn't wear his hat or gloves and then got mad when his fingers got cold. All he wanted to do was walk around and kick the snow. Brtyen, wouldn't get out of the stroller and was covered up. It was fun and defiantly a different experience with kids.

Our camera battery died after three pictures, two of which are of the Hiltons. Aaarrrrggg!

Little Dancer

Bryten had her Christmas dance recital last Saturday and she rocked the house. She was in three different dances. This was T's first dance recital as a teacher for Beckey's, she was a bit stressed but her girls did good and her cher girls did awesome! The Hilton girls danced also and while both of them did good Kiara was simply amazing. She will probably be a better dancer then her mom, but thats not saying much. Bryten's second cousins Bryn and Marley also and danced. It was their first performance and both danced their hearts out. Marley danced so hard she feel over.

Two Christmas's

Since we weren't going to see Taryns family on Christmas we went there this last weekend and had an early Christmas. The kids got spoiled. Along with us! Randy hooked us up with a wide angle lens. They ate way too much candy and were supper hyper all night. We built ginger bread houses.

Thanksgiving

We spent Turkey day 2007 in Almo, Idaho. Taryn's grandpa has a ranch and the kids love the cows and horses. Ate way too much food and spent black Friday in the thriving metropolis of Twin Falls. They have all the same stores we have here in Salt Lake. Here are some pics we took around the ranch of the kids.
